"The secret we both protected during my administration is now the subject of some very serious questions. The person referred to in the matter is now deceased and can no longer come to harm."
(Page 397, The Girls Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson)
I'm down to the last instalment of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy and I will be very sad to close the last chapter. It's a real pity Larsson passed away and we will not be recipients of any more of his very interesting and engrossing work. Next step, watch the movies...

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
1. Grab your current read
2. Open to a random page
3. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
4. BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
5. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I am so loving When Will There Be Good news. Thank you so much for sending it to me.

Lots of great reviews for this series. Too bad it is at an end with this one. My teaser and contest link is here
I read the first of Larsson's books and while I liked it well enough I can't say I wanted more.
Guernica? Now THERE was a book you recommended that will stick with me.

How are things down there, your parents are still in York? :D
Zeno and our friends are "trying" to organize a trip to New Castle and York for the end of July. Hum, we'll see... it would be nice meeting you! :D
hugs!!
Happy Friday and Happy St George's Day! :)
Hi there-sounds a good read!! Have a lovely weekend!
Just to say thanks for the offer of Lego and I'd love to accept! I'm more than happy to pay for it too. :-) Feel free to contact me via my Blogger profile.
I wrote a comment on your last post which says you have 10 comments. When I click on comments though, only one shows up – bizarre.
MI try to find books in French here and it’s not easy. I found an obscure memoire from a Russian émigré living in Paris 1895 to 1935 at a flea market. It is interesting to me because she was a close friend of Marcel Proust and talks a lot about him, but not the kind of book anyone would like to read. I have not read any of Larsson’s.
Peek-a-boo, where are you? ;) Hope you are enjoying spring! Hugs!
