Apologies if I've just shocked you with this "graffiti' but I think this represents the current situation in my adoptive country after yesterday's shamble election. I've never understood the British electoral system and now I'm even more confused than before. But as I wasn't allowed to vote anyway I suppose I don't need to understand. I just need to know how to pay my taxes...
Anyway, while we are waiting to know who our next PM will be, something good came out of all that ramble: Caroline Lucas was elected in Brighton as the first British Green MP!
And of course now I hope the meaning of 'hung parliament'...very useful indeed!

GO CAROLINE!

Go greens! That was about the only good news in a disappointingly dreary day. and it's still not over yet. What a complete debacle!
And we thought by Friday it would all be over Hmm !! ,As a UK citizen I am bored and fed up with it all no wonder they took the GREAT out of Britain ,Keep paying them taxes Gal hee hee farcical isnt it ? ..love Jan xx
Ciao Antonella, la politica qui non me sembra poi tanto meglio che in Italia :/
Buon weekend e felice festa della mamma! Tu festeggi sia a marzo che domani, vero? ;D
Its all too confusing for me!!! Yeah great that theyve gone green in Brighton! My hometown :) xxxxx
Very clever grafitti. Who is the artisit do you know?
@Steve: ...you're right and it's not over yet...let's wait and see.
@Jan: I don't anything will really change for me, but I'm worried for my children and their future...Ciao.
@Kia: Hai ragione, la politica fa schifo un po' dappertutto. La festa della mamma per me e' a marzo, ma festeggio la mia mamma a maggio.
@Laine: I love Brighton, Laine, one of my favourite places in Britain!
@Mo: I don't know, Mo. I've found it by chance. Ciao.
