In Limbo again!
Since last Thursday I cannot connect to the Internet again! I thought BT was the solution but clearly it isn't! I'm waiting for BT engineers to come and check my "physical" lines. A diversion after talking for hours with the lovely guys from Bangalore! The connection is here but I cannot get onto any websites! If anybody has an idea, pls let me know. I'd be foreI'm back to my usual hysterics as I've got deadlines and need to earn my livelihood and to do so I rely totally on emails etc. Not to mention my social life which (very sadly) depends on the Internet connection too! Well, I cannot survive much longer on the O2 (very slow) dongle! Until better news come up, ciao!!!

Ciao Antonella, BT is the owner of the phone line, right? Like Telecom in Italy. So BT must find out if the problem is on the phone line or somewhere else! We didn't like BT at all and moved almost immediately to Tiscali and are so glad we did. Fingers crossed for you. Happy evening! :)
Long live Telecom Italia!!!!
Oh after my last computer less 9 days I totally feel your pain! Good luck and I hope they can get you back up to speed soon!

When my internet was down I spent my time at the local library and the local Panera. Free wifi and getting out of the house, oh and lovely pastries at Panera, made the connection problem not so problematic.
Hopefully the engineers will be able to rewire and connect you to a different circuit. If this doesn't fix it. esculate. Make sure everytime you have a conversation with BT you record the date time name of the person you spoke with and what you discussed. We took months to get ours sorted. We got the same story over and over. Were lied to and told we were wrong. As we were able to quote back conversations to them it put us in a stronger position. When they started going around in circles we demanaded that they give us a plan of their proposed actions and a time frame. It was an awful lot of work for a very long time. However it did pay off.
Good luck
No internet, yet? Grrrr @ BT! :/ Good luck!!
