Happiness

The supreme happiness of life is the conviction that one is loved;
loved for oneself, or better yet, loved despite oneself.
Victor Hugo

This my daughter's idea of happiness: holding a little lovely dog in her arms.

And my idea of happiness is just watching her being so happy! Why can things be as simple as a child's smile???

(The little dog is called Bambi by the way. Doesn't he look a bit like a baby deer?)

Joy, tenderness, love, energy, optimism, light, innocence, vitality ...all of them in these two pics taken by a proud loving mother.How much can images say?
P.S. Bambi is lovely and your beautiful daughter adorable.

I know just what you mean - seeing sheer happiness on my kids' faces is one of the best things about being a parent.

I absolutely agree, there is no sight better than K's smile and no sound better than her laugh.
