The Greatest Night

The Greater Night for sure. Absolutely amazing show from start to finish, jaw dropping! We managed to dodge the rain and the evening was fantastic. I’ve just read that we were over 50,000 people in the Stadium of Light but everything went perfectly.

Before the show.

James Morrison

TT on their "elephant"

Everybody was excited and happy, my daughter and her friend who are still small and couldn’t see perfectly were held up on the shoulders in turn by some very kind young men next to us and we had all a fabulous time. I do not want to spoil it for whoever of you who’s got a very good taste and is going to see Take That soon, so I won’t go into too many details.

Gary Barlow

Even the supporting acts were great: Gary Go - I didn’t know before - was a positive discovery and James Morrison does not need any introduction and he’s great live. And then the circus tend “opened” up and the greatest show of all started among a gigantic air balloon, circus acrobats and of course Take That with their wonderful music and vocals.

Relight my Fire setting

After two hours of solid show (not just a concert, but a real show, a feast for your eyes!), the evening finished with the beautiful Rule the World and only the boys on stage and real fireworks in the background. I didn’t think it could have been possible for them to top their Beautiful World tour but they did it again!

Both my daughter and I would go again tonight and tomorrow and the night after if we could. Her first concert was a real success!

I'd have bee satisfied even with only he opening singers' performances: I love Gary Go's "WONDERFUL" and have a sort of fixation on James Morrison's latest album. My favourite song is "PLEASE DON'T STOP THE RAIN": I listen to it infinite times a day, while driving to school, marking my students' papers, reading. This morning I was going to my first class and realized I was humming it along the passages!!! So, what can I say...I envy you, A.
Wish you a great weekend.

@Maria Grazia: It was like having 3 concerts in one and a circus show + fireworks on top. Simply amazing! I didn't know Gary Go before but I really liked him and James Morrison is fantastic anyway and performs splendidly live! I really hope TT will decide to go for an European tour and come to Itaky as well. Have a nice weekend. Ciao. A.

Nothing quite like an extravaganza with music and fire to set a mood to last for days. I'm glad your daughter and her friend had such a good time. You certainly are creating great memories for her.

Just popped in to see how you are. :) Are you enjoying "The Gargoyle" so far?

Thanks for the visit, I hoped to capture both a fluffy sheep and fluffy clouds, but no luck. I'm glad we have sheep and cows just outside the city :) they are so cute! I was amazed to see that both pics have a green bg with a white subj. :)

Hi Antonella, you are so lucky to have seen Take That in concert, my Kerry would have really loved to go but at the time of booking she was expecting Sophie. She has been a fan since she was young and still loves them as much today. I`m glad you had a great time. :o)

Love and Hugs

@Beth: It was fantastic! I'm thinking of going again!!! Ciao.

@ModernMom: A perfect show. No words to describe it!

@Hilda: I like music concerts, but when there is a proper glamorous show attached even better!

@Kia: Thanks. I’m still without a camera so all my shots were taken with my mobile phone (“inherited” from my son who’s got a better one now!)

@Kathryn: Yes, it was perfect and the rain spared us, although it rained in buckets all the way back home!

@Laura: Thanks, Laura. I really hope she will remember that night for a long time. Kids grow up so quickly and I wish she will remember only the good moments together.

@Kia: Hi again, dear Kia. I’ve been enjoying The Gargoyle so far, although I thought it was something rather different, unusual. Definitely worth reading though.
Love your fluffy sheep photo! So cute.

@Sandra: Sorry that Kerry cannot go to Take That’s concert but I’m sure she’s got better things to do with little Sophie. You can get her their dvd for Christmas. I’m sure they’re going to make one of their live tour!!! All the best.
