At the end of the rainbow

At the end of the rainbow there is said to be a pot of gold. I’ve just seen a beautiful rainbow but couldn’t find any gold! Just a bunch of loud girls playing football….Too bad!

The one on the right (wiht the red socks) is my daughter, who’s now officially my boss, as I’m officially her personal taxi driver….

What a sky! And are those the Hambledon Hills and Garrowby Edge in the background?

Then definitely there is gold at the end of the rainbow

I always look for the pot of gold too! LOL! ;) Here we have seen so many rainbows that now we get disappointed if we don't see one every time it rains (read: everyday!). Ciao!

Hi Antonella,

What a shame you didn`t find the gold, perhaps someone else found it first...lol!

@Laura: Thanks, Laura. Yes, she’s my big pot of gold but so demanding!

@The Dotterei: They might be. We’re not far from there. Pop in for a coffee if you ever pass through the village.

@Mo: You wouldn’t say so if you knew the day/evening I had yesterday thanks to the red-sock “lady”!!!

@Kia: I love rainbows and yes, I think here in Britain we are spoilt with all these rainbows. A little consolation for the rain and wind!!! Ciao a te, carissima!

@Sandra: Yes, my usual luck…Or maybe I did not look very well. All the best to Kerry!

@Beth: Yes, the colors were particularly strong. Maybe because the clouds were really very dark?

@Mervat: As I said, she’s my pride and joy but so much hard work to deal with!

We had some rainbows today. I almost felt an urge to keep on driving and keep looking for the pot of gold.

Wow what an amazing photo, the rainbow is so vivid! Today we didn't have rainbows - just lots of rain!

I'm sorry to hear about Lilly, it's amazing how attached we get to our little critters isn't it. I remember when I was your daughters age sobbing like my heart was going to break when my first goldfish died!

What a beautiful sky. Cherish those taxi driving days, they pass quickly.

@Kia: Keep on coming back here and you’ll never know what expects you! Ciao!

@Jane: Gold or not gold, rainbows are simply beautiful. A lovely reward after the rain…

@Jackie: It will take time to get over out Lilly. She was such a special hamster. She looked like a mini teddy-bear with the personality of a kitten!

@ Darla: You’re right. Time passes too quickly! My “babies” are not such any more and they will be gone too soon…

@Jeannette: Thanks, Jeannette. I had never seen such vivid colours before!

@ CGP: I think the girls spent longer watching at the rainbow than football training!

@Missie: Hi dear, hope you’re feeling better. Look after yourself.

@YM: Yes, I think I struck lucky with her. I was always too busy when her brother was her age and I’m catching up now. Ciao.

@Valeria: Fa freddissimo qui, nevischio previsto per domain! Credo che tu stia meglio nella bellissima e tiepida Verona! Buon weekend!
