I bet most people never think it is possible to see snow in Italy, at least away from the Alps, so that’s why I’ve decided to post these photos that I’ve just received from Italy. My little green town on the hills in Northern Italy is now covered with a thick blanket of soft white snow. At lunchtime they already had 30 cm of snow, but it is still snowing. End of November is a bit early for snow, but the summer and the autumn have been so dry that snow is a blessing now for all the farmers and vine-growers.

This is my town in Italy under the snow. As you can see, people don't mind facing the white slippery stuff!!!
And this is our river ...
Snow can be a nuisance, that’s true, especially if you need to travel, but I love it. Everything looks better and more beautiful in white, even the dullest places!!!

So let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
(A big thankyou and a huge hug to my friend Giusy who sent me the photos! What would I do without her!!!???)

I did think it snowed in Northern Italy. Like you, I love the snow. Everything is so bright and clear, the light is special. Everything looks wonderful under winter's blanket. It used to snow every year when I was a child. I would so like snow this winter, especially for the boys. Your pictures as beautiful.
I stil hate snow, but the pictures are pretty. I really like the one with stream.
Have a good weekend.
That's beautiful. I never knew it snowed in Italy. I'm very sheltered LoL. Thanks for sharing. I love snow.
Take care, Chrissie
Oh I love the snow too!! I knew it can snow in Italy as it snowed a little bit when we were in Rome once and it was very cold! Those pictures are just beautiful. I love it when you are the first to walk on snow. I love it!!

I don't think I'll ever survive the cold, having lived all my life in Manila. But I agree with you that snow makes everything look so pretty! Please thank Giusy for us too — her photos are lovely! I adore the one of the river!
It looks really fantastic - very clean and beautiful.
lovely photos, I've been in Turin in November and it was freezing cold but no snow...
